In 2005, we began a journey which has culminated in the transformation of nearly 250 acres of once disused and barren land to fertility. In India, this now means the ground can be returned to use for local agriculture and forestry. It has improved the air quality and has created much needed local employment.
The transformation of land also creates much-needed greenery in a world of creeping urbanisation where green space is in shorter supply-and the threat of higher carbon dioxide levels and climate change is ever increasing. In the scale of global change this maybe one small change, but it’s one implementation project that’s made a big difference that we are really proud of.
For nearly 10 years, the Global Minds leadership team have been running ultra-marathons, for charity, collectively raising a staggering $100,000 +
Nikki Kimball, Pradeep, Sachin, and Shashank, amongst others, have been pushing themselves to the limit for good causes, whether it’s charities to help victims of war, natural disaster, catastrophe-and poverty-or those who have Alzheimer’s or Autism, or suffering hunger, and disease, our fundraising efforts have helped charities to supply food, shelter, medical aid and other fundamental needs
